{"id":29501,"date":"2023-12-12T19:15:27","date_gmt":"2023-12-13T01:15:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/poncatribe-ne.gov\/?p=29501"},"modified":"2026-07-31T11:04:24","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T11:04:24","slug":"higher-education-assistance-deadline","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/qlogicllc.com\/poncatribe\/news\/higher-education-assistance-deadline\/","title":{"rendered":"Higher Education Assistance Deadline"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you plan to apply for Higher Education assistance, the spring deadline is December 15, 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Higher Education Program assists only enrolled members of the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska who are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students attending community colleges or other vocational training institutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undergraduate students attending four-year colleges and universities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Graduate\/post-graduate students who maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Funding for two- and four-year programs is need-based, and eligibility is determined by the Financial Need Form (FNF) that all schools are required to complete, not to exceed our maximum allowable for tuition, book, and fee costs, which is $4,800 per year with a maximum of 10 semesters for a four-year program and five semesters for a two-year program. A maximum of 12 credit hours per semester will be funded, and students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 in every funded class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HOW TO APPLY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.
