{"id":35388,"date":"2020-08-19T09:32:53","date_gmt":"2020-08-19T14:32:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/poncatribe-ne.org\/?p=10333"},"modified":"2020-08-19T09:32:53","modified_gmt":"2020-08-19T14:32:53","slug":"request-for-proposal","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/qlogicllc.com\/poncatribe\/news\/request-for-proposal\/","title":{"rendered":"REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING SERVICES<br>TRANSPORTATION RELATED ACTIVITIES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">August 17, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Request for Proposal is being sent to engineering firms for providing preliminary engineering services and possible construction management services to the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska for projects listed on our Tribal Transportation Improvement Plan (TTIP) on an as needed basis. Proposals for providing these services will be received until 12:00 PM CST September 17, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This request is open to all qualified bidders. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to Section 7 of the Indian Self Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C. 5307) which requires to the greatest extent feasible preference in the award of contracts and subcontracts shall be given to Ponca Tribe of Nebraska owned and American Indian\/Alaska Native owned enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preference and opportunities for training and employment shall be given to Ponca Tribe of Nebraska members and other American Indians and Alaska Natives. The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska employment and contract preference policies will govern the award of the contract. If a qualified and responsible Ponca Tribe of Nebraska firm or a Native American firm is within 5% of the lowest responsible bid it shall be awarded the contract based on Indian Preference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subject to the Ponca and Indian preference requirements governing the award of the contract, the contract will be awarded to the lowest and most responsible responder as determined by the Tribe. Evaluation factors are based on points.
